A family based in Mill Neck, NY (near Locust Valley) is interested in hiring a live-in person who can cook (healthy family meals, not a gourmet chef), drive, shop for groceries, run errands, drop off items at the dry cleaner, and help with morning drop-offs and afternoon pick-ups from school for their three children. The day starts at 7am for breakfast with the family followed by grocery shopping and cooking during the day, then picking the children up from school, cooking family dinner which is served around 6:30/7, and then cleaning up after dinner, ending around 8:30pm. The schedule is Sunday night through Friday afternoon, live-in. The children are teenagers so don't require supervision. The job would include some light housecleaning, but they have full-time housekeeping help for most of the laundry and heavy cleaning.
